Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Ulaş Sancak ("we", "us"), the publisher of WordReader. By downloading or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use WordReader.
1. The service
WordReader is a reader for WordPress websites. It shows posts that sites publish through their public WordPress REST API, and lets you follow sources, add sites, search, save and share articles. We may change, add or remove features over time.
2. Your account
You can use WordReader without an account (an anonymous account is created for you) or sign in with email, Apple or Google. Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account or on the account deletion page.
3. Content from other sites
Articles, images and other content belong to their publishers. WordReader does not host, edit, endorse or check this content and is not responsible for its accuracy, legality or availability. Opening, saving or sharing an article does not give you any rights to it beyond personal reading. Publishers who want a built-in source removed can contact us at admin.wordreader@roxyapps.net.
When you add a site yourself, you confirm that reading it through WordReader does not break the law or the site's own terms.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use WordReader to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Do not try to copy, scrape or resell content through the app.
- Do not interfere with the app, its servers or other users, or try to bypass limits or security.
- Do not reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
5. WordReader Pro
- WordReader is free with ads. WordReader Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, that removes ads and raises limits on followed sources, added sites and saved articles. Current limits are shown in the app and may change.
- The price is shown in the App Store or Google Play before you buy and is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- A free trial, where offered, turns into a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a trial is lost when you buy a subscription.
- Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your WordReader account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We do not process payments.
6. Ads
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Ads are provided by third parties; we are not responsible for advertised products. See the Privacy Policy for how ads use data.
7. Our rights
The app, its design, name and logo belong to us. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, within the rules of the store you got it from.
8. Apple App Store
If you got WordReader from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, or third-party intellectual property claims; we are, as these terms describe. You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. government embargo and not on a U.S. government list of prohibited parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
9. No warranty
WordReader is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that the app or the content will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of WordReader or of third-party content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for WordReader Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory consumer rights.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using WordReader and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 3, 7, 9, 10 and 13 continue to apply after the agreement ends.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date above, and tell you in the app if a change is significant. If you keep using WordReader after a change, the new terms apply.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes go to the competent courts and consumer arbitration committees of Türkiye, without affecting mandatory consumer protection rules and courts of the country where you live.
